Village Northwest Unlimited is excited to share the outcome of the 16th Annual Village Northwest Unlimited Benefit Golf Tournament. The tournament was held July 18, 2016, at Landsmeer Golf Club in Orange City, IA with a field of 144 golfers. The benefit event raised over $45,000 in support of the organization’s mission to provide purpose, privacy and dignity for individuals with disabilities.
Taking first place in the men’s first flight, with a score of 56, was the team of Jim Poppema, Ryan Anema, Chris Yaw, and Earl Woudstra. Winning the men’s second flight, with a score of 66, was Mark Waterstone, Chad Lyman, Ray Schnurr, and Duey Van Veldhuizen. The women’s flight winners, with a score of 70, were Brooke Wittrock, Ashley Sandersfeld, Rylee Goosen, and Heather Storey. The winning team in the mixed flight, with a score of 68, was the family team of Dr. Scott Lichty, Susan Lichty, Karl Lichty and Benjamin Lichty.

Over the lifetime of the Village Northwest Unlimited Golf Benefit, over $376,000 has been raised in support of individuals with disabilities.
