Evening Custodial Staff
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be committed to cleanliness and upkeep of the Wansink Center. Good working knowledge of floor care, carpet and vinyl, and operations of floor equipment. Good verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
PURPOSE:
To be responsible for the cleanliness of the Wansink Center and care of the carpet and hard floors in all areas of the Center including the classrooms, offices, locker rooms, bathrooms, and whirlpool area.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain a clean environment for staff and residents to work and learn in at the Wansink Center
- Responsible for floor care duties of Wansink Center through deep cleaning of carpet and hard floors.
- Empty trash, vacuum carpets, mop floors, dust furniture and perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Maintenance.
- Support the Mission and Values of Village Northwest Unlimited.
- Maintain regular attendance.
- Work approximately 15 hours per week. Typically, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday evenings from 5pm – 8pm.
PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Lifting: Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time approximately 3 times a week.
Other Requirements as needed: Pushing, Pulling, Twisting, Kneeling, Reaching, Bending, Fine Motor Skills
Visual/Auditory requirements: Ability to adequately interact with staff and persons served
