Executive Assistant to the CEO

QUALIFICATIONS:

Proficiency in grammar, spelling, word processing, bookkeeping, and operation of office equipment.  Telephone etiquette and the ability to deal with people in a professional manner are essential.  The ability to organize multiple tasks and meet deadlines will be necessary.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.

PURPOSE:

To initiate, perform, and be accountable for the procedures necessary to ensure the efficiency of the Chief Executive Officer and Director of Health Services.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Develop and maintain a positive personal relationship with consumers and staff.
  2. Relieve the CEO of as much administrative detail as possible.
  3. Assist Director of Health Services with any other tasks, as assigned
  4. Maintain Health & Dental Insurance, COBRA coverage, Flexible Spending, Life Insurance, and Workman’s Compensation.
  5. Responsible for taking and distributing agenda and minutes for Board of Director meetings.
  6. Order sufficient office supplies for Village Northwest.
  7. Support the Mission and Values of Village Northwest Unlimited.
  8. Assist in ensuring effective and efficient operations by performing tasks as assigned by the CEO.
  9. Maintain regular attendance.

 PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Lifting:  Limited, no more than 20 pounds

Other Requirements: Repetitive Movement (typing), Fine Motor Skills, Pushing, Twisting, Bending

Visual/Auditory Requirements:  Ability to adequately interact with staff and consumers
