Executive Assistant to the CEO
QUALIFICATIONS:
Proficiency in grammar, spelling, word processing, bookkeeping, and operation of office equipment. Telephone etiquette and the ability to deal with people in a professional manner are essential. The ability to organize multiple tasks and meet deadlines will be necessary. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
PURPOSE:
To initiate, perform, and be accountable for the procedures necessary to ensure the efficiency of the Chief Executive Officer and Director of Health Services.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and maintain a positive personal relationship with consumers and staff.
- Relieve the CEO of as much administrative detail as possible.
- Assist Director of Health Services with any other tasks, as assigned
- Maintain Health & Dental Insurance, COBRA coverage, Flexible Spending, Life Insurance, and Workman’s Compensation.
- Responsible for taking and distributing agenda and minutes for Board of Director meetings.
- Order sufficient office supplies for Village Northwest.
- Support the Mission and Values of Village Northwest Unlimited.
- Assist in ensuring effective and efficient operations by performing tasks as assigned by the CEO.
- Maintain regular attendance.
PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Lifting: Limited, no more than 20 pounds
Other Requirements: Repetitive Movement (typing), Fine Motor Skills, Pushing, Twisting, Bending
Visual/Auditory Requirements: Ability to adequately interact with staff and consumers
